Why September brings a spike in asthma attacks, especially among children
"September is almost a perfect storm for asthma and respiratory disease. So we have kids going back to school. They haven't seen each other all summer and they start sharing common respiratory viruses. And then, we have ragweed mold, occasional wildfire smoke and then other environmental triggers and they can all be hitting the lungs at the same time."
